Does anyone know of any actual cases where a Starbucks opening nearby actually ran an existing cafe out of business?

(I can site examples of Wal-mart intentionally destroying local small businesses... but I think [livejournal.com profile] xthread is right about Starbucks. Given that Starbucks tends to be more expensive than most local cafes, they aren't really competing. Somehow, even when they move into an already cafe'd neighborhood, they are creating a new market that mostly does not effect the other cafe.)
