Goal and achievements, as described here.

Achievements:

So last time I finished neither of my intended goals. This round I didn't bother listing them, though I would really have liked to finish the pillow case for [livejournal.com profile] cardboard_dream, sew a nest for [livejournal.com profile] xthread's little cat, as well as finish patching all of my jeans rather than just one pair. Oh, and having a clean apartment would have been nice too.

But, on the flip side, I have had a very busy 3 and a half months, with quite a bit of work in there. And I don't feel like nothing got accomplished even if none of my producing things goals got met (I have health insurance! I have had micro-adventures of my own design! I replaced the gear shifts on my bike!)

Books read:
Passage - Connie Willis: Connie Willis books are always a win, but I really wish this kinda heavy novel had actually mentioned that it features a main character with Alzheimer's in the blurb. That surprise didn't come at the best of times for me.
Smoke and Ashes - Tanya Huff: Fluff. Fluff with a gay male hero and vampires and demons, but still. Not that fluff is a bad thing, and clearly, as third in the series, I found it worth reading.
Sheepfarmer's Daughter - Elizabeth Moon: Meh. But it was free.
Halting State - Charles Stross: Stross writes a damn good story.
Fledgling - Octavia Butler: While not as philosophically provocative (to me) as many of her past novels, it still was a damn fine story.
