Books Read:
Reaper's Gale - Steven Erikson: Epic. In this instance epic means 1200 pages and requires reading the first 6 books to make any sense. Which isn't to day I didn't find the book worthwhile, but it is a hefty read.
Singularity Sky - Charles Stross: Not bad, but of the Stross I have read, this is not my favorite.
When Things Fall Apart - Pema Chödrön: Recommended to me specifically for the essay "It's Never Too Late". I am normally not a fan of Buddhist texts as I have encountered them, but this one presented concepts in a more non-denominational and I got a lot out of it, particularly that essay.
Shadow of the Wind - Carlos Ruiz Zafón: Oh my god, this was a beautifully worded book.
Reread:
Transmetropolitan - Warren Ellis and Darick Robertson: Oddly enough, I find reading chaotic stories with a vitriolic protagonist a cathartic experience.
