A very drunk boy, dressed as Beaker, was trying to explain why he identified as a lesbian. My suggestion that to identify as a lesbian one must also identify as a woman wasn't so much dodged as run over by his assertion that he agreed with lesbian ideology. He continued by explaining how he felt deeply connected to the "Lesbian Ethos". Lesbian ethos? I really was not inebriated enough for this conversation. Fortunately, I was extricated before I could ask if he had ever read Craigslist Women for Women (I was, however, lacking in sobriety enough invite that potential conversational train wreck).

Alas this conversation has been haunting me and causing a block in my ability to write a Hot Lesbian Shower Scene. Clearly authenticity requires that I capture the Lesbian Ethos, but I have no idea what it is. Where do I start looking for a description of it? Is it something anyone can have? Also, if my character identifies as a lesbian, does she have to have the ethos? What if she doesn't consider herself a lesbian but has the ethos, does she have to be a lesbian? How many lesbians are required for a shower scene to be a Hot Lesbian Shower Scene? I mean, I had figured that as long as one of my characters identified as a lesbian it was okay, as there was one, but now this ethos question has me horribly confused

Please help, as I am deeply worried that a drunken muppet knows more about Lesbian Ethos than I do.
